Estella Picks: Maia Larkin Illustrations

How beautiful are these wintery prints by children’s fashion illustrator Maia Chavez Larkin? They are equal parts imaginative and playful and fun addition to any little one’s room décor. Having attended school for interior design and then studied painting and drawing in Italy, Maia has contributed to the industry for years; her work has been featured on brands like Mini & Maximus and Anais & I, as well as with a variety of print and online publications. She also has a whole collection of dolls and printed cushions (called “softies”) that are stuffed with eco-friendly bamboo or corn fiber and organic dried lavender. As an added bonus, Maia paints the dolls and tea-dyes the softies by hand – pretty amazing!
