At Estella, we hand select baby clothes that are designed specifically for children. From our New York City offices, we design, manufacture and buy designer newborn baby clothes from the heart. We consider how suitable every style, color, fabric and fit will be on children before bringing them into our shop. We ask ourselves how it will fit kids, will it irritate them, how will the item wear over time etc. The last thing you want to hear from your child after you've invested in a beautiful piece is "it's itchy, I can't wear this". For this reason, we avoid mass produced, mass market "baby fashion clothes." These are usually made by large adult brands that are simply trying to expand their corporate reach. They usually do this by taking their most popular adult styles and miniaturizing them. While this may or may not look good, it ignores the specific needs of children.

Bamboo Baby Layette

We developed our line of bamboo baby layette because there was nothing in the market that was stylish and designed for babies. The line includes baby rompers that accommodate baby diapers, yet look very stylish, kimono tops that allow easy access to tender newborn belly buttons and many more designer newborn clothing pieces. Each item is made with our bamboo blend fabric that allows babies to grow and move freely, retains less moisture so that babies stay drier and is a sustainable material that regenerates quickly without much impact on the environment. Made wholly in the USA, we watch our carbon footprint and are developing our own line of trendy baby clothes including toddler boy clothes & toddler girl clothes and more that will also do the same.
