Estella's designer children's clothing collection is different from those of other baby boutiques because we work very hard to find children's clothing designed by artisans who are less interested in mass production and more so in making stylish and beautiful baby clothing that is also practical. Most of our designers are European mothers who were working for large fashion houses like Jean Paul Gaultier & Dries Van Notten, but left their positions to design for their own kids and their collection. They had kids and found that there was little on the children's clothing market that is stylish and practical. Thus, the basic tenet in their designs and our designer kids' clothes collection is to make stylish and practical clothes for children. We try for example to avoid baby dresses that can only be dry cleaned. Knowing that newborn babies can soil their dresses within minutes, we try to limit our newborn baby clothes collection to baby apparel that is machine washable. Infant & Kids Clothes Designers

Made in Italy, Album di Famiglia is one of Estella's original European Baby Clothes lines. We have been carrying it since 2002 and have grown with the line to the point where we now carry the children's clothing line and carry more of it than any other online baby boutiques.

Album di Famiglia began by only designing luxury baby clothes. Founded in Northern Italy, near Milan by Monica Rusconi & her sister, the company focused on combining simple, modern silhouettes with clean lines and the softest, most comfortable fabrics for babies. The results were silhouettes that were inviting, cottons that felt like cashmere and an overwhelming response from the market. The line represented a sharp break from the norm that newborn baby clothes had to be traditional, frilly, pastel and fussy. The collection was so well received that customers wanted more than cute baby clothes! Thus it expanded to designer kids clothes and more. The company now makes clothing not only for babies (infants to 18 months), boys and girls 2 to 8 years old, but also for mothers. Its collections still have the same characteristics that it began with and that trendy baby clothes generally lack: simplicity, sumptuous fabrics and the attention to detail that kids wear warrants.
