Lines We Love: Wolf & Rita SS14

What started out last season as a brand committed to producing well-made shirts for boys and girls has now evolved into a line that’s full of eclectic prints, unique separates, and breezy dresses for Portugal-based Wolf & Rita. For its spring-summer 2014 collection, A Song for a Perfect Summer, the line chose to incorporate the joyful and festive feel of summertime into each of its designs, as seen with the quirky-cool bird and chili prints, easy-to-wear pieces, and nautical-inspired stripes. The collection as a whole is sophisticated and elegant, but still versatile and kid-friendly due to the soft fabrics and relaxed silhouettes found in each of the pieces. As an added bonus, the brand works hard to protect the planet and its people: the fabrics are all sourced from a 25-mile radius of the companies headquarters, the packaging is either biodegradable or recycled, and the catalogs are printed by a local organization that works with children in need.
