Estella’s girls pants collection is different from those of other children's stores because we travel the world and work very hard to find children’s clothing designed by artisans who are less interested in mass production and more so in making stylish and beautiful kids clothing that is also practical. Most of our designers are mothers who were working for large fashion houses like Jean Paul Gaultier & Dries Van Notten, but left their positions to design for their own kids and create their collection. They had kids and found that there was little on the children's clothes market that is stylish and practical. Thus, the basic tenet in their designs and our girls pant collection is to make stylish and practical clothes for children. We try for example to avoid children’s pants that are dry clean only. Knowing that toddlers and kids can soil their pants within minutes, we try to limit our toddler clothing collection to kids apparel that is machine washable.
