Organic Baby Clothes

This season we have introduced our first line of 100% organic cotton clothing for newborn infants babies through 6 year old toddler boys and girls. The line consists of organic baby clothing as well toddler clothes. There are baby onepiece suits, baby dresses, toddler dresses, kids' pants & leggings, printed t-shirts & dresses and fun accessories.

The idea is to bring to market a collection, like our bamboo layette line, that parents can put on their babies from infancy. We wanted this line to be made of materials that were chemical free not just so that the kids wearing them are not in contact with chemicals, but so that we lessen our carbon footprint and encourage the chemical-free cotton industry. While we have always believed in organic baby products, we didn't want to jump into the market with yet another organic collection that was environmentally friendly, but lacked any aesthetic appeal and was impractical for babies. We wanted to avoid creating a line that would be made of dull itchy, albeit organic fabric that was visually unappealing and abrasive to kids' sensitive skin. We waited until we found organic cotton that was soft enough to avoid making babies uncomfortable and available in vibrant colors.

Made in Japan, our organic fabric is super soft, bright, happy and fun - perfect for a children's collection. We imported it to the US, designed and made the collection right here in the New York City metropolitan area. To maintain the integrity of the organic baby clothes, we researched and found a New York based hand printer who works with non-toxic dyes. Using these dyes, he hand-printed our bodysuits, tee shirts and dresses such that they are safe for kids yet graphic, fun and beautiful to look at.

We added beautiful tooth fairy pillows that will come in handy for an older sibling or for baby, when they start to lose their baby teeth.
